Knowing the meaning behind these two labels is important if you're looking to buy the healthiest and safest food for your family. However, a more important thing to consider is, dissecting the actual ingredient label of the product you're buying.

For example, say you're purchasing a bag of frozen blueberries. The bag labeled USDA Organic and NON-GMO has blueberries WITH added sugar, but the bag that's not labeled with either is strictly just blueberries. It's crucial to read the ingredient label of the products you're buying; that's where the truth lies!
